This City Kills

Photographed by:Jon Ryan

We don’t know if Kill City Jeans founder Drew Bernstein stitched his denim with mayhem or adrenaline but last Thursday we left the Flaunt offices early to celebrate multiple occasions of the rejuvenated vibe on the high road, Melrose Avenue. Kill City announced their new store opening on their home turf in Los Angeles, conveniently neighboring next to tattoo enthusiasts and hair stylists; Black Banditz. They joined the celebration with success on their two-year anniversary of the shop and announced a second location soon to be opening in Downtown Los Angeles. With these two innovative powerhouses next to each other, gentrification is always on their mind. The festivities were endless with a Pabst Blue Ribbon bar in the back, new spring merchandise full of bold leather cuts, aztec skinny jeans, and rock and roll inspired t-shirts. Between sharing dressing rooms with excited friends and dancing to D.J.’s Rick Rude and Louisahh, we left with a new “This City Kills,” T-Shirts and happiness for all of our friends.

Look out for Kill City in our newest issue of Flaunt Magazine, out now.
