SMOOTH LINES: RUN THE WORLD (GIRLS)

Resurrected from the 80s, the neon trend has been all the rage this season. Sadly, with the days of summer quickly dwindling away, and the fall months approaching faster than expected, it’s almost time to stash away those lime green pants, electric blue bikinis, and iridescent pink tanks in the back of our closets.

Fortunately for those of us having a hard time ditching our neon threads, manicurist to the stars, Deborah Lippmann, has the perfect solution to ease our neon woes! Run the World (Girls) mini nail lacquer set features five bright, juicy, and FDA approved colors all with a sophisticated demi-matte finish. The only thing more fun than the vivid shades are their names, inspired by chart-topping hits like Katy Perry’s "I Kissed A Girl," Jason Derulo’s "It Girl," and Gwen Stefani’s "Hollaback Girl." Sense a pattern?

Though neon has come and gone, and come again, these refined varnishes make neon timeless. So go ahead, spice up those fall neutrals with a splash of neon and an ode to the Jazzercising Jane Fonda.

Run the World (Girls) is available through Neiman Marcus.
